Contract: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights
Assignment Type: PRN

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Corrections Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN night-shift assignment in Phoenix. This opportunity is ideal for an RN with corrections experience who is comfortable working across multiple jail clinics and caring for a diverse patient population.
Schedule
- PRN assignment
- Night shift
- Minimum 1 × 12-hour shift per week
- Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays
- No on-call requirement
- Orientation offered every 2 weeks
- 13-week contract
- Extension opportunities available
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in the specialty preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the position
- Active Arizona RN license or Compact RN license
- BLS
- First Aid certification
- Current N95 fit testing required
- Must be flexible to work across multiple correctional facilities
- Must be comfortable working weekends and holidays
Assignment Details
- RN may float between 6 jail locations
- There are 8 clinic locations across the six jails
- All locations are within approximately 5 minutes of each other
- Agency nurses may be assigned to different jails/clinics based on staffing needs
- Overtime may be available for critical staffing needs but requires manager approval
- No on-call requirement
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments and implement appropriate interventions
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes
- Perform standard nursing procedures based on patient needs
- Complete required nursing documentation
- Provide patient health education
- Administer medications according to established protocols
- Perform basic IV and phlebotomy skills as needed
- Participate in orientation and training of new employees, contract staff, and students
Pay Package
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $552/week
- Taxable Rate: $46/hr
- Overtime Rate: $69/hr
- Weekly Hours: 12
- Estimated Weekly Taxable Pay: $552
- No per diem included
