Job Description:
Position: Acute Care Pharmacist
Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule:
- 7 days on / 7 days off
- Overnight shift
- 9:00pm-7:00am
- Monday-Sunday rotation
- 7x10-hour shifts during scheduled week
Local Pay Package:
- $6,400 per week
Overview:
- Verify medication orders and ensure safe medication dispensing practices
- Oversee pharmacy compounding personnel and workflow operations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to optimize patient care
- Utilize EPIC EMR for medication management and documentation
- Escalate operational and medication-related concerns to pharmacy leadership as needed
- Work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Great opportunity for experienced Acute Care Pharmacists seeking an overnight assignment

Requirements:
- Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care pharmacist experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Experience verifying medication orders required
- Experience overseeing pharmacy operations and compounding personnel preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills required
