Job Highlights

• 36 guaranteed hours/week
• No call
• LDRP model covering Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Triage, Postpartum & Nursery
• Potential to float to other departments based on census and facility needs
• Centricity / MEDHOST charting

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Must be experienced across L&D, Postpartum and Nursery
• Required experience includes:
  • Spontaneous vaginal deliveries (SVD) – no VBAC
  • C-sections
  • OB triage
  • Nonstress tests (NST)
  • Postpartum care
  • Couplet care
  • Level I nursery/newborn care
  • Fetal monitoring and interventions
  • Obstetric hemorrhage management
  • Pre-eclampsia/eclampsia & hypertensive crisis management

Required License / Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring
• ADN or BSN

Unit Details

• 15 beds total
  • 6 L&D beds
  • 9 Postpartum beds
• Ratios follow AWHONN standards
• Adults and newborns
• Level I nursery
• Common cases include antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, inductions, C-sections, pre-eclampsia and neonatal hyperbilirubinemia
• Equipment includes Baxter pumps, Omnicell, Masimo monitors and GE Centricity fetal monitoring

Travel / Local Rule

• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
• Locals accepted at reduced rate
