Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Geropsychiatric / Behavioral Health
Location: New Hampshire
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

 Mandatory Qualifications for This Job

• Active New Hampshire RN License is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required.
• Previous Behavioral Health/Psychiatric or Geropsychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Current AHA BLS/BCLS Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessments, medication administration, and therapeutic interventions.
• Experience with mental health documentation, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient assessment skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

 Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to geropsychiatric patients.
• Perform mental and physical assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and update individualized treatment and care plans.
• Lead therapeutic groups, patient education, and one-on-one interventions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Complete admissions, progress notes, discharge planning, and clinical documentation.
• Monitor patient safety, therapeutic outcomes, and quality of care.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
