Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical | Winchester, TN

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week, with facility able to accommodate up to 48 hours
Unit: Medical Surgical – 44 beds
Patient Ratio: 1:6
Trauma Level: Level II

Requirements:

Active RN license valid for Tennessee
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience
BLS certification required
Meditech experience required
Must live at least 60 miles from the facility for travel consideration
Must be willing to float as needed
Weekend requirement: 24 hours
Call may be required; must arrive within 30 minutes to 1 hour if called

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients of all ages
Assess patients, administer medications, and monitor treatment plans
Document patient care accurately in Meditech
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
Collaborate with physicians and other clinical staff
Float to other units as needed
