- Facility Name: Ottumwa Regional Health Center
- Location: 1001 East Pennsylvania Avenue, Ottumwa, IA 52501

- Target Start Date: 09/27/2026 (Monday or Tuesday starts allowed)
- Shift Details: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 36 or 48 guaranteed hours available.

Experience & Qualifications
- Experience Required: 1–2+ years of experience (will consider 1 year of experience if accompanied by travel experience).
- Local Rate Policy: Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater to be considered travel (local rate is $54/hr).
Strict Onboarding & Compliance Requirements
- Background Checks: Must have Iowa SING Background Check to clear (criminal and child abuse portions required—no exceptions). All county and state background checks must be fully cleared prior to start (no instant or statewide searches accepted).
- Certifications: Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult).
- Drug Screening: 10-panel screening including opiates required.
- Titers: Must be within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB).

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
