Description
RN – Utilization Management / Case Management – REMOTE
Position: RN Utilization Management
Setting: Remote
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Weekend: Every 5th weekend rotation
Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
Contract: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Utilization Management / Case Management experience
- CCM or CMCN certification required
- Epic experience required
- Dragonfly UM tool experience required
- Strong computer skills
- Previous remote-work experience required
- Must provide own computer; facility does not supply equipment
- Degree accreditation verification required OR 5 years of qualifying experience
- Prior travel experience highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform utilization management and clinical review activities remotely.
- Review patient records and clinical information to determine medical necessity and appropriate level of care.
- Apply clinical criteria, payer requirements, and organizational guidelines to utilization decisions.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, clinical teams, and other healthcare professionals.
- Document reviews and decisions accurately in Epic and Dragonfly.
- Support appropriate resource utilization and patient care planning.
- Maintain productivity, quality, and compliance standards while working remotely.
