Telemetry Technician
Overview
- Location: New York, NY

- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Hours per week: 34.5
Required Qualifications
- Telemetry Technician (2 years of experience)
- Telemetry Technician experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills / Experience
- MS Office Suite familiarity
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced ECG monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
- Identify and respond to potentially life-threatening rhythm changes and monitor alarms
- Perform electrocardiograms, including proper electrode placement
- Communicate clearly with charge nurses, coworkers, and physicians
- Enter and verify orders in the computer system
- Retrieve laboratory results and bring them to the charge nurse’s attention
- Ensure documentation meets current standards and organizational policies
- Manage and operate monitoring and medical equipment safely and correctly
