Description
Job Breakdown – CVOR CST
- Facility: HCA Florida Blake Hospital
- Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
- Location: Bradenton, Florida
- Unit: CVOR 703
- Beds/Rooms: 2
- Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- EMR: Meditech
Staff
- Day Shift: 2 First Assistants, 2 RNs, 2 CSTs + PRN staff as needed
- Night Shift: Call only
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
Must-Have Skills
- CABG – on and off pump
- Valve procedures
- Ablations
- Assistance with line placement
Preferred Skills
- Level 1 rapid infuser setup
- Cell saver setup
Procedures
- CABG
- VATS
- ION
- Valve procedures

- Backup for TAVR
Schedule / Other Requirements
- Traveler follows facility scheduling policy.
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation required
- Flexible and good communication skills preferred.
