Job Details

MRI Technologist assignment in Kings Mountain, NC
13-week assignment
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
No weekends or on-call requirements
Primarily outpatient setting with occasional inpatient and ED patients
Patient population is primarily adult and geriatric, with rare pediatric patients
Average department volume of approximately 7–11 patients per day
1 MRI imaging room utilizing GE equipment
EPIC EMR and PACS utilized
Full week of training with an MRI Technologist; additional support provided during the first two weeks
May assist with X-ray procedures if experienced and comfortable, but not required
50-mile radius requirement applies

Job Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of MRI Technologist experience required
ARRT (R) certification required
ARRT (MR) certification required
Current BLS certification through AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross) required
Strong general MRI clinical skills required
PACS experience required; no specific PACS platform necessary
Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work patiently with geriatric and behavioral health patients
Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers may be considered with manager approval
Ability to safely assist with lifting and positioning patients as needed
