We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to provide perioperative care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient care in the CVOR setting.
• Perform both scrub and circulating RN duties.
• Assist with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, and supplies.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection-control standards.
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and communicate changes promptly.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.
• Complete accurate perioperative documentation.
• Participate in scheduled weekday and weekend call rotations.
• Work rotating start times and holidays as required by unit needs.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience.
• 1 year may be considered for candidates with Level I Trauma experience.
• Recent cardiac, thoracic, and vascular scrub experience required.
• Recent circulating experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and perioperative nursing practices.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and participate in call requirements.
