Local Contract Senior - LPN / LVN

We are seeking experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for a contract opportunity. The LVN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Unit RN and Unit Nurse Manager while maintaining compliance with facility, HHSC, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and compassionate patient care under the direction of the Unit RN and Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established orders and policies.
• Provide medication education to patients.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Perform computer data entry; full training will be provided.
• Follow facility Standard Operating Procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, BSH policies/directives, and HHSC standards, rules, and directives.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to support quality patient care.

Requirements

• Active and valid LVN/LPN license.
• Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements.
• Must complete required HHSC drug screening.
• Must complete required HHSC fingerprinting/background requirements.
• Must complete all facility and HHSC-required training.
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
