Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Start Date: September 14, 2026
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 3 × 12-hour shifts
Schedule: 5:30 PM–6:00 AM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Unit: Respiratory Therapy
Call: No Call
Opportunities: Additional shifts may be available for interested clinicians


Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide basic and critical respiratory care services according to physician orders and department protocols
  • Assess and treat patients with a variety of respiratory conditions
  • Deliver respiratory care across adult, geriatric, pediatric, and neonatal populations
  • Perform and interpret/assist with ABGs and EKGs as appropriate to the role
  • Provide respiratory support and monitoring for patients requiring acute and critical respiratory care
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records, flow sheets, documentation, and charges
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with nurses, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
  • Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards


Required Credentials

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
  • BLS/CPR
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NRP

Preferred: PEARS certification


Experience & Education

  • 1+ year of respiratory therapy experience accepted
  • 2 years of experience preferred
  • Strong experience working with babies/neonatal patients highly valued
  • Experience with ABGs and EKGs strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
  • Master's degree preferred
