Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 12-Hour Shifts
Schedule: 72 Hours Every 2 Weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Kealakekua, Hawaii.

The selected RN will float between two Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units and provide care for Med-Surg overflow patients in the ICU and Emergency Department (ED). This position is ideal for an adaptable RN who is comfortable working across units and caring for patients with varying levels of acuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients.
• Float between two designated Med-Surg/Telemetry units based on facility needs.
• Care for Med-Surg overflow patients in the ICU and ED.
• Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes in clinical status.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR.
• Follow hospital policies, patient-safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism while working in different clinical environments.

Requirements

• Active RN license and required credentials.
• Recent Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing experience.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Ability to float between multiple units.
• Experience caring for higher-acuity or overflow patients is highly preferred.
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts.
• Must be available for the full 13-week contract.

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Hours: 72 hours every two weeks

Compensation

• Regular Pay: $25/hour
• Weekly Housing & Meal Stipend: $1,800
• Weekly Gross: Up to $2,700/week, subject to completion of scheduled hours
• Pay Package: Available for further discussion and negotiation
