Description

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The X-Ray Technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist physicians in identifying and diagnosing illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and specialized X-ray examinations according to physician orders
Explain procedures to patients and provide appropriate instructions
Properly position patients and operate radiographic equipment
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Follow radiation safety protocols and minimize patient radiation exposure
Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and safety throughout procedures
Review images for quality and completeness
Maintain accurate patient and examination records
Follow department policies, infection-control procedures, and safety standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

ARRT certification required
Experience as an X-Ray/Radiologic Technologist
Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation safety
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
Willingness to work every other weekend
