Job:Pediatric Sonographer / Echocardiography Technologist
Location: Fairfax, VA 22030
Shift: Days | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Start: ASAP
Job Overview
Seeking a Pediatric Sonographer with strong pediatric echocardiography experience to perform fetal, pediatric, and adult congenital echocardiograms and support NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU patients.
Note: Local pay $2320—below 50 miles
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric and fetal echocardiograms.
- Perform studies for congenital and complex heart disease.
- Assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement.
- Recognize and triage emergent situations.
- Communicate findings to cardiologists.
- Maintain equipment and complete procedure documentation/billing.
Requirements
- 1+ year pediatric sonography experience
- ARDMS required
- BLS required
- ECMO experience required
- Strong knowledge of congenital and non-congenital heart disease
Pediatric Echocardiography Registry preferred
