What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations)

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required (1 year mentioned elsewhere; submittal instructions note minimum 2 years). Previous travel experience and BSN preferred.
• License & Certifications: Active RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure (pending licenses considered at submission, but must be active and in-hand prior to start). Required certifications: BCLS and ACLS.

Clinical & Unit Overview

• Hospital Highlights: 352-certified-bed facility, Level II Trauma Center, Level II Stroke Center, and the only tertiary hospital between Kansas City and Omaha.
• Charting System: EPIC (experience preferred).
• Return Traveler Policy: Previous employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler.

Scheduling & Submittal Policies

• RTO Policy: RTO must be included at the time of submission.
• Radius & Local Rules: 50-mile radius rule applies (traveler's permanent address must be at least 50 miles away). Local candidates are accepted at a lower rate.
• Orientation & Modules: Modules are non-billable, completed during orientation, recorded through MyPath, and up to 4 hours of module time is factored into the NBO. Free parking available.
