Telemetry RN – Neuro Trauma | Wesley Medical Center – Wichita, KS

Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Unit: Neuro Trauma / Telemetry – 10th Floor
Facility: Wesley Medical Center
Beds: 36
EMR: Meditech

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of current acute-care hospital Telemetry experience
Neuro/trauma experience strongly beneficial

Required Certifications:

BLS
ACLS

Preferred:

NIHSS

Night Shift Staffing:

7 RNs
3 Patient Care Techs

Patient Population / Procedures:

Neuro and trauma telemetry patients
Bubble studies
EEGs
Continuous telemetry monitoring and acute-care nursing

Equipment:

Kangaroo pumps
Meditech charting

Ideal Candidate:

Positive and engaged
Flexible with unit needs
Comfortable managing a typical 1:6 telemetry assignment
Strong assessment and telemetry skills in an acute-care setting
