Facility: University of Kansas Health System – Great Bend Campus
Location: Great Bend, Kansas
Specialty: RN – Labor & Delivery (LDR)
Shift: 12-hour Nights, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of L&D/LDR experience
• 3+ years preferred, especially rural hospital experience
• Must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients
• Must be willing to float to Med-Surg
• Previous travel experience preferred
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Must have completed an Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course within the last 24 months
• Candidate must be fully committed to obtaining PALS before the start date

Schedule Requirements

• Every other weekend
• 2–3 on-call shifts per month
• Holidays required on a rotating basis
• Float to Med-Surg as needed for overflow patients

Important Notes

• Nicotine-free facility
• Bi-weekly pay
• Monday virtual orientation
• Credentials due 1 week before start
• Client may cancel up to 2 shifts per month without pay, with at least 2 hours' notice
• Low-census cancellations may require the RN to remain available on-call at home and be paid the applicable on-call rate
• If called back during a regularly scheduled shift, callback rate applies
• 8-hour no-bill orientation policy
