HIGHLIGHTS:

Experience in Labor Delivery [required]

Experience in Post Partum /mother-baby care [preferred]

current/recent high risk OB experience in level I trauma facility [highly preferred]

current/recent high risk OB experience in level II trauma facility [required]

Antepartum, C-section/vaginal delivery experience [required]

No 1st time travelers, must have completed at least one travel assignment in previous 12 mos [required]

Intermediate or Advance EFM / AWHONN certificate is accepted [required]

EPIC emr experience [required]

Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Labor Delivery) [required]

Nursy s must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission [required]

AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS - basic life support [required]

AHA/American Heart Association- ACLS certificate - advance cardiac life support [required]

NRP certificate [required]

AWHONN certificate [document] [required]

Patient Ratios: 1:1-2

Patient Types: High Risk ob, antepartum, c-sections, vaginal deliveries

Deliveries/month: 150 @ Methodist, 300-350 at Iowa Methodist

Local Radius rule: No locals -- All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on drivers license)

Employee Separation Policy: Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply

HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran Iowa Methodist
