RN – Psychiatric / CPEP
Location: Bronx, NY 10456.
Start Date: 09/16/2026 | Duration: 16 Weeks
Shift: Days | 12 Hours | 34.5 Hours/Week
JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking an experienced psychiatric RN to provide care to adult, pediatric, and adolescent patients with acute behavioral health needs in a CPEP setting.
Local rate: $64/hr
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide psychiatric nursing care and patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation.
- Manage behavioral emergencies and restraints when required.
- Monitor patients for changes in mental and physical status.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Allscripts.
- Support triage and fast-track operations as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ year Psychiatric RN experience
- Active NY RN License
BLS, ACLS & PALS required
