Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician to join the Diagnostic Radiology team in Wadsworth, Ohio. The ideal candidate will operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, accurate documentation, and excellent patient care.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic radiographs.
• Properly position patients for imaging procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of patient records and procedure results.
• Calibrate and safely operate radiology equipment.
• Apply and adjust positioning or restraining devices when appropriate.
• Assist with select additional radiology procedures based on training and competency.
• Maintain accurate documentation using hospital and radiology computer systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare staff.
• Follow all radiation safety, patient safety, and facility protocols.
• Assist with lifting and positioning patients as needed.
• Perform other duties within the scope of training and experience.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Active ARRT certification or registry eligibility.
• Active Ohio Radiographer License required.
• Minimum 2+ years of X-Ray/Radiologic Technology experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic equipment operation and patient positioning.
• Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Experience using hospital and radiology information systems.
• Ability to respond appropriately in emergencies and initiate CPR when necessary.

Schedule Requirements

• 40 hours per week
• 5x8-hour shifts
• Regular schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Required to work every other weekend from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Important Submission Requirements

• Maximum 7 days of RTO allowed.
• Candidates requesting more than 7 days of RTO will be automatically rejected.
• Interview is required.
• Please include the candidate's available interview dates and times at submission.
• Facility requires an August start.

Required Credentials

• BLS
• ARRT Certification
• Active Ohio Radiographer License
