Job Details-:

• Shift timing- 07:00pm o 07:00am
• Guaranteed hours- 48 or 36 per week | 12 per day
• Floating required
• No call
• Every other weekend

Job Responsibilities-: 

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients in a high-risk L&D setting.
• Perform fetal monitoring, recognize abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and recovery of patients following C-section procedures.
• Administer and manage medications including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, antihypertensives, and other obstetric medications.
• Perform maternal assessments, obstetrical triage, sterile vaginal examinations, and monitor patients for complications such as preeclampsia, hemorrhage, preterm labor, and uterine rupture.
• Provide newborn care including APGAR scoring, neonatal resuscitation, newborn assessments, identification/security banding, thermoregulation, and parent discharge education.

Requirements-: 

• Must have 2 years of L&D experience
• Previous travel experience
• EPIC experience
• Active Washington or Compact RN License
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• FHM
• AWHONN
