Description
CICU/CVICU Registered Nurse – Rotating Days/Nights
- Specialty: CICU/CVICU RN
- Location: Maryland
- Start Date: 09/14/2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts
- Shift: Rotating Days/Nights
- Days: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
- Nights: 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM
- Hours: 36 hours/week
- Weekends: Every other weekend required
- Holidays: Required as scheduled
- On-Call: May be required; client confirmation pending
- Patient Population: Adults/Geriatrics
- Unit Size: 15 beds
- Average Daily Census: 10 patients
- Ratio: 1:1, up to 1:3 with stable/lower-acuity patients
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- First-time travelers accepted with strong CVICU experience
- Strong critical-care/CVICU skills required
Required License & Certifications
- Active Maryland RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- CPI
- NIH
- CCRN preferred
Floating
- Floating required within the specialty.
- May float to lower-acuity areas as needed.

- Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Pulmonary Hypertension (PH)
- Advanced Therapy Workups

- Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
- Hypertensive Urgency/Emergency

- Bedside Central Line and Arterial Line Insertions
- Bronchoscopy
- Chest Tube Insertion
- Swan-Ganz/Pulmonary Artery Catheter Insertion
- Targeted Temperature Management
- CRRT
