Position: Behavioral Psych RN Geropsychiatric Unit
Location: Nashua, NH 03060
Start Date: 09/14/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Schedule: 3×12 | 36 Hrs./Week

Job Description

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Geropsychiatric Unit.
Perform mental and physical assessments and monitor changes in patient conditions.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Develop and update individualized treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team.
Participate in therapeutic groups, patient education, and 1:1 patient interactions.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Complete admission paperwork, assessments, progress notes, interventions, evaluations, and discharge documentation.
Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care.

Requirements

Active New Hampshire RN License
BLS/BCLS Certification
Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma
1+ year of nursing experience
Medical terminology knowledge
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
