Location: Lancaster, OH
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Schedule: 7 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-Hour Night Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
EMR: Cerner

Requirements:

Active Ohio RN License
Minimum 1 year of RN experience
Med-Surg Adult experience required
ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and PALS certifications required
Ability to care for Surgical Med-Surg and PCU-level patients
Strong critical-thinking, communication, and prioritization skills
 

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to Surgical Med-Surg and PCU patients
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to physicians
Provide patient and family education throughout the admission and discharge process
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
Delegate appropriate tasks and provide direction to nursing support staff
Promote safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care
Respond effectively to urgent situations and changes in patient acuity
Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and quality initiatives
