Description

Required

  • Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider required (NRP recertification required every 2 years)
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion (or equivalent AWHONN approved course) (Not required if a Lactation RN) (FHM recertification required every 2 years)
  • American Heart Association ACLS (Not required if a Lactation RN)
  • Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing
  • Two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
  • If Lactation RN: Certification in lactation consulting/counseling (CLC, IBCLC)

 

  • Must be able to circulate.
  • Must be willing to float to Mother Baby and take couplets.
  • Must be willing to float to other units as safety companion.

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
