Description
- Position / Title: L&D - RN (Labor & Delivery)
- Facility Name: Ardent Health Lovelace Regional Hospital
- Location: 117 E 19th St, Roswell, NM 88201

- Target Start Date: 09/14/2026
- Shift Details: Nights (4x12 Hours, 18:00 – 06:30); option of 36 or 48 hours per week. For 48 hours pay package is $2566/week
What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations)
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience required (first-time travelers accepted).
- License & Certifications: Active NM or Compact license accepted (pending license allowed at submission, must be obtained prior to start). Required certifications: BLS and NRP.
- Radius & Local Rules: Strict 50-mile local radius (local candidates are not accepted). Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.
Clinical & Unit Overview
- Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend. All RTO must be listed at the time of submittal (max of 4 days RTO can be auto-approved).
- Floating Expectations: Travelers are expected to float to like units within their scope as needed based on facility needs, with a brief orientation provided on the unit.
- Compliance & Onboarding: Once the contract is signed, travelers are expected to complete labs within 48 business hours. Onsite modules (4–6 hours for RNs) are non-billable and completed during orientation.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
