Mid Shift | 4×10s | Monday–Thursday | Everett, Washington

Start Date: September 14, 2026
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Mid | 1:30 PM–12:00 AM
Schedule: 4×10-hour shifts
Days: Monday–Thursday
Experience: 2+ Years
Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted
Call: None
Weekends: None
Block Schedule: Yes
EMR: Epic preferred
License: Washington State certification in both MRI and Radiology required

This position is ideal for an experienced MRI Technologist who can also perform X-ray/Radiology, providing a great opportunity to utilize a broad range of imaging skills in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The imaging department supports a freestanding Emergency Department, with approximately 50% emergency/trauma patients and 50% outpatient patients, creating a diverse patient population and varied daily workflow.

🧲 MRI Responsibilities

Perform a broad range of MRI examinations across multiple anatomical regions, including:

Head & Neck

  • Brain MRI
  • Cranial nerves
  • Face and soft tissue neck
  • Orbits
  • Head MRA
  • Head/neck MRV

Abdomen & Pelvis

  • Abdomen
  • Abdominal MRA
  • Abdominal MRV
  • Female pelvis
  • Male pelvis
  • MRCP

Spine

  • Cervical spine
  • Thoracic spine
  • Lumbar spine
  • Sacrum/coccyx
  • Spinal trauma
  • Thoracic MRA

Musculoskeletal

  • Shoulder
  • Knee
  • Hip/bony pelvis
  • Foot
  • Hand
  • Upper and lower extremity long bones
  • Sternum
  • TMJ with/without contrast

Chest

  • Breast
  • Chest
  • Myocardium


🩻 Radiology / X-Ray Skills

The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting both MRI and conventional Radiology/X-ray services.

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations
  • Support emergency and trauma imaging
  • Follow appropriate positioning and imaging protocols
  • Maintain image quality and diagnostic accuracy
  • Assist with patient positioning and preparation
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced ED environment
  • Follow radiation safety standards


💉 Additional Clinical Responsibilities

  • Prepare and/or administer contrast media according to established protocols
  • Start peripheral IVs
  • Follow isolation precautions and PPE requirements
  • Maintain radiation safety standards
  • Verify patient identification and exam orders
  • Provide appropriate patient instructions
  • Maintain accurate documentation
  • Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment
  • Work with PACS and radiology information systems
  • Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout examinations

🏥 Clinical Environment

This is a freestanding Emergency Department and outpatient imaging environment, providing an approximately 50/50 mix of emergency and outpatient patients.

  • Respiratory Services
  • Rapid Response Teams
  • Interpretation Services


✅ Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of MRI/Radiology experience
  • ARRT(R) certification required
  • ARRT(MR) certification required
  • Washington State certification in both Radiology and MRI required
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience in Adult Acute Care
  • Experience in Adult Outpatient
  • Experience in ER/Trauma
  • Experience in Pediatric Acute Care
  • Experience in Pediatric Outpatient
  • Ability to perform both MRI and X-ray/Radiology
  • Strong patient-care and communication skills
