- Position / Title: ICU - RN (Blended ICU)
- Facility Name: Havasu Regional Medical Center
- Location: 101 Civic Center Lane, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403

- Target Start Date: 07/26/2026 (13-week contract)
- Shift Details: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; 3x12 hours, 36 guaranteed weekly hours)
What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations)
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience required (travel experience required; CVICU experience is a plus but not required).
- License & Certifications: Active RN license and required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Radius & Distance Rules: Strict 60-mile radius rule (candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered travel; local rate is $52/hr compared to the travel pay rate).
Clinical & Unit Overview
- Unit Details: 16-bed ICU/CVICU unit (Level III Trauma center, 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center).
- Patient Ratios: 1:2.
- Floating & Call Requirements: May be required to float to the Intermediate Care Unit (as primary RN) or ED holding for admitted patients as needed. Call is required.
- Charting System & Equipment: Medhost EHR and Baxter pumps.
Scheduling & Facility Policies
- Attendance Policy: Travelers are allowed one call-out per contract; a second call-out requires proper documentation and is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
