Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Echocardiography Technologist to perform routine and complex cardiac diagnostic imaging procedures. The Echo Technologist will provide high-quality patient care, ensure accurate imaging and documentation, coordinate patient flow, and assist physicians and sonographers with echocardiographic examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex echocardiographic sonography procedures according to departmental standards.
• Conduct a full range of cardiac diagnostic testing.
• Assist physicians and sonographers with high-quality echocardiographic examinations.
• Evaluate image quality, including patient positioning, technical factors, and image alignment.
• Review patient information for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Accurately document procedures, findings, and patient information.
• Coordinate patient flow and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
• Maintain excellent patient care throughout diagnostic procedures.
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, and imaging quality standards.
• Cross-train and provide support within other areas of Cardiovascular Services as needed.
• Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication with patients, physicians, sonographers, and coworkers.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Echo Technologist experience
• Associate's Degree in Ultrasound
• Strong experience performing cardiac diagnostic testing and echocardiographic imaging
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to coordinate patient flow effectively
• Strong attention to detail and imaging quality
• Positive attitude and willingness to improve departmental workflows
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Required Certifications

Must have one of the following:

• RDCS – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)
  OR
• RCS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI)

Also required:
