Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU

Schedule:

• Days
• 36 or 48 hours/week
• Every other weekend
• Every other holiday
• Self-scheduling model; schedule preferences are considered but not guaranteed
• Manager will explain scheduling process during the call

Requirements:

• Minimum Level IV NICU experience – REQUIRED
• Pediatric/Children's Hospital experience
• RRT credential – REQUIRED
• BLS – REQUIRED
• NRP – REQUIRED
• Virginia RN/RT license may be pending if candidate can obtain a temporary license before start
• Must hold another state license to qualify for the temporary VA license
• ACCS – Preferred
• Cardiac PICU experience – Preferred

Position Details:

• RRT will work primarily within the Children's Hospital, supporting critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Experience with high-acuity neonatal respiratory care and Level IV NICU patients is essential.
• Cardiac PICU experience is a strong plus.
