Job Title: Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Yuma, CO Contract Term: 13 Weeks Schedule: Days – 7 Days On / 7 Days Off EMR: Cerner Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience Active license/registration required ASCP, AMT, NCA, HEW or equivalent registry accepted Phlebotomy experience required Strong verbal and written English communication skills Responsibilities:Perform routine, timed, and STAT laboratory testing Perform phlebotomy, therapeutic phlebotomy, arterial and capillary collections Perform EKGs and specimen procurement Monitor quality control, instrument function, and maintenance Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records Correlate laboratory results with patient diagnosis and identify incompatible results Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and compliance procedures Assist with orientation and training of new employees Coordinate testing procedures and clinical data with medical staff Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment
