Position: MRI Technologist
Shift: Varied 12-hour shifts
Schedule: 2 × 12-hour shifts Saturday/Sunday, 11:00 AM–11:30 PM + 1 × 12-hour shift Monday–Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Contract: 182 days
Weekend: Required
Holiday: Required if scheduled/needed
Call: Possible
EMR: Meditech Expanse – Highly Preferred
Equipment: GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures using GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment.
• Provide MRI services for approximately 9 patients per shift.
• Work alongside another Tech/Aide or MRI Technologist; traveler will never work solo.
• Follow MRI safety protocols and established imaging procedures.
• Accurately document patient and imaging information in the EMR.
• Work weekend and evening shifts as scheduled.
• Participate in call coverage as needed, with the department covered by call after midnight.

Requirements

• 2+ years of current MRI experience – Required
• ARRT(MR) Certification – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• GE equipment experience – Required
• Meditech Expanse experience – Highly Preferred
• MRI Skills Checklist current within 1 year – Required
• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference from within the past 2 years – Required
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings.
• Must be willing to take call as needed.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
