Description

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Private Outpatient Clinic

Oro Valley, Arizona

Setting: Private Outpatient Orthopedics
Profession: Physical Therapist (PT)
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Full-Time
Care Model: 1:1 Patient Care

Outpatient PT Opportunity – Oro Valley, AZ

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment with a private outpatient clinic in Oro Valley, Arizona, just north of Tucson.

The biggest selling point of this opportunity is the clinic's 1:1 patient-care model. Rather than routinely managing multiple patients at the same time, you'll have the opportunity to focus directly on each patient and provide more individualized treatment.

For a PT who enjoys outpatient orthopedics but wants to avoid the high-volume feel of some larger clinics, this is a particularly attractive opportunity.

Position Highlights

  • Private outpatient clinic
  • 1:1 patient-care model
  • 13-week travel assignment
  • Full-time schedule
  • Primarily orthopedic and musculoskeletal caseload
  • Individualized treatment approach
  • More dedicated therapist-to-patient interaction
  • Opportunity to focus on quality of care rather than high-volume scheduling
  • Beautiful location just north of Tucson

Why the 1:1 Care Model?

A 1:1 treatment model allows you to spend dedicated time with each patient rather than constantly moving between multiple patients.

That can mean:

  • More individualized treatment sessions
  • More opportunity for hands-on treatment
  • More time for patient education
  • Ability to closely monitor progress and modify treatment
  • Stronger therapist-patient relationships
  • Less of a high-volume or "patient mill" environment

For a PT who loves outpatient but wants a more patient-focused clinical environment, this is the feature I'd lead with.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Arizona PT license or Compact privilege
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong orthopedic evaluation and treatment skills
  • Strong patient communication and education skills
  • Interest in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
  • Previous outpatient experience preferred

What You'll Do

You'll evaluate and treat orthopedic, musculoskeletal, post-operative, and functional conditions while developing individualized plans of care.

Treatment may include therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual interventions as appropriate, patient education, and individualized home exercise programs. You'll monitor progress and modify treatment based on patient response while working within the clinic's 1:1 care model.

Why Oro Valley, AZ?

Oro Valley is a fantastic location for someone who wants access to Tucson while living in a quieter, scenic community. It's located just north of Tucson, surrounded by dramatic desert and mountain scenery.

The area provides easy access to Catalina State Park, the Santa Catalina Mountains and Mount Lemmon, with hiking, biking, golf, and outdoor recreation practically outside your door.

You're also close enough to Tucson to enjoy its restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and cultural attractions while coming home to a more relaxed suburban environment.

About

Ardor Health Solutions formed in 2001 and remains a privately held medical staffing business owned and operated by the same family. Over the years we have expanded our staffing and recruiting capabilities to include therapy services, nursing services, and all allied services.

If you would like the personal service that comes with a staff of recruiters that have an average tenure with the company between 5 and 15 years, and the knowledge of our client services representatives with similar experience, there is no need to look any further.

At Ardor Health Solutions you can expect better than average pay packages, extraordinary benefits, and the peace of mind that you will not be forgotten once you start your assignment. Perhaps that is why so many of our caregivers have completed more than a dozen different assignments with us over our long history.

Ardor Health is pleased to offer a free medical insurance plan in addition to major medical plans. Please contact a recruiter for more details on the free medical plan and/or any other general inquiries.

One final fact about Ardor Health Solutions. We have been paying our caregivers weekly since 2001, and we have never, ever, missed a payroll. If you are currently on an assignment with us, thank you. If you have traveled with us before, we would like to welcome you back. If you have never traveled with us, give us a try. You will not be disappointed.
