A skilled nursing facility in Mediapolis, Iowa is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) for the Evening Shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to skilled nursing and long-term care residents
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Monitor residents and identify changes in condition
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate resident status and changes in condition to providers and facility leadership
• Supervise and support nursing staff during the evening shift
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, physicians, and other members of the care team
• Assist with assessments, care plans, and resident needs
• Respond appropriately to urgent resident needs and emergencies
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations
• Provide compassionate, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license
• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the care team
• Dependable and compassionate approach to resident care
