Description
Pride Health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's Hospice team in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Position Details:
Location: Lake Charles, LA 70601
Patient Care Setting: Hospice
Coverage Area: Greater Lake Charles
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
On-Call/Weekend: None
Mileage: Reimbursed between patient visits, from first patient to last patient. ($0.48/miles)
Dress Code: Navy blue preferred
Local Pay: $50.00–$55.00/hour (W-2)
Key Responsibilities:
- Case manages an assigned group of hospice patients and coordinates their overall care.
- Provide patient-centered nursing care while monitoring patient needs and progress.
- Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary hospice team.
- Complete required clinical documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license.
- Hospice nursing experience required.
- HCHB (Homecare Homebase) experience is an advantage.
- Strong patient-centered approach with a positive, willing, and flexible attitude.
