48hr, Day/Evening/Night rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and on call per unit need

Complete Description:
Unit for patients (age 18 and up) with intensive symptom management needs at
end of life. Good IV skills, wound care skills, compassion, ability to
manage patients with complex needs and families in crisis. Astute assessment
skills are mandatory to advocate for patients who often can no longer speak for
themselves. The unit also cares for general medicine overflow. Experience with
patient-controlled analgesia pumps or CHPN certification highly desired. Two years
of recent palliative or acute med/surg experience and BLS from AHA required.
Requirements:
- NYS RN License
- 2 years' experience of recent palliative or acute med surg experience
- BLS from AHA
- Experience with patient-controlled analgesia pumps or CHPN certification highly desired
