Job Title: RN – Emergency Department (ER)

Location: Johnson, AR 74741
Contract Duration: 12 Weeks
Shift: Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Mandatory Qualifications for This Job

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department (ER/ED) RN experience required.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required; may be completed onsite if needed.

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
Perform triage, assessments, monitoring, and reassessments.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments.
Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Assist with procedures, resuscitation, and patient stabilization.
Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and treatment responses.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate EHR documentation and follow safety protocols.
Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions.
Support admissions, transfers, and safe patient discharges.

This is a 12-week Travel RN – Emergency Department (ER) position in Johnson, AR, offering day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Candidates must have an active RN license, 2+ years of ER/ED RN experience, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. NRP is required but may be completed onsite if needed.
