RN – ICU

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience; 4–5 years preferred.
• ICU experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required.
• Cardiac/Heart experience highly preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Active NY RN license and all active RN licenses must be verified through NURSYS.
• Skills checklist matching the specialty required.
• RTO must be provided at submission.
• Driver’s license address must match the candidate’s demographics.
• Local candidates accepted at the local rate if within 75 miles.

Schedule:

• 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Night shift.
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed.
• Floating is required between ICU units as needed.

Unit Details:

• 42-bed ICU: Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surgical/Trauma.
• Common cases include strokes, sepsis, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and major post-op patients.
• Equipment includes IABP, CRRT (Prismaflex/NxStage), ventilators, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun).
• Scrub color: Navy.
