Travel NICU RN – Moreno Valley, CA

Requirements:

• Active California RN License
• BLS
• NRP
• NICU experience
• 3 years of PEDS/PICU experience preferred, as the RN may be required to float
• Experience with neonatal assessments, central lines/UACs, bedside monitoring, and mechanical ventilators

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU
• Perform head-to-toe neonatal assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and calculate age-appropriate dosages
• Manage central lines and UACs and obtain blood samples as needed
• Monitor patients using bedside monitoring equipment and mechanical ventilators
• Calculate and monitor fluid and nutritional intake
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and the healthcare team
• Educate and communicate appropriately with parents and families
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and maintain accurate documentation
