Job Description:

Position: Certified Ophthalmology Assistant

Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire

Setting: Ophthalmology Clinic

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule:

Monday-Friday
7:00am-4:30pm
Occasional Saturdays
40 hours per week

Travel Pay Package:

$2,452 per week total. Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals

Overview:

Assist ophthalmologists with patient examinations and vision assessments
Perform diagnostic testing necessary for evaluation of eye health and vision correction
Support clinical procedures and patient care within a busy ophthalmology clinic
Prepare patients for exams and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide quality eye care

Requirements:

Must hold one of the following certifications:
- COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant)
- COT (Certified Ophthalmic Technician)
- COMT (Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist)
Certification must be active and included in submission packet
Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience within the last 2 years required
Minimum 1 year of Ophthalmic Technician experience preferred
Successful completion of Ophthalmic Technician training program required
Strong ophthalmology clinic experience preferred
