Job Description:
Position: Certified Ophthalmology Assistant
Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire
Setting: Ophthalmology Clinic
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 7:00am-4:30pm
- Occasional Saturdays
- 40 hours per week
Travel Pay Package:
- $2,452 per week total. Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals
Overview:
- Assist ophthalmologists with patient examinations and vision assessments
- Perform diagnostic testing necessary for evaluation of eye health and vision correction
- Support clinical procedures and patient care within a busy ophthalmology clinic
- Prepare patients for exams and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide quality eye care

Requirements:
- Must hold one of the following certifications:
- COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant)
- COT (Certified Ophthalmic Technician)
- COMT (Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist)
- Certification must be active and included in submission packet
- Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience within the last 2 years required
- Minimum 1 year of Ophthalmic Technician experience preferred
- Successful completion of Ophthalmic Technician training program required
- Strong ophthalmology clinic experience preferred
