Description

Travel Contract – Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)

Minimum Experience: 1 year
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics

Position Requirements

Active GA Dietitian/RDN License required; can be obtained during compliance
BLS required
RD/RDN required
Epic experience – Required
Experience with inpatient nutrition therapy and interventions
Experience with calorie counts, tube feedings, food-drug interactions, TPN, treatment plans, and nutrition assessments

Position Details

Patient Ratio/Census: 1:100
Average Visits: 25/day
Average Daily Census: 280
Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
Scrub Color: Purple
Floating: Yes, within the facility
Weekends: Every 5th weekend
Call: Yes, weekends and after-hours as assigned
RTO: Maximum 7 days
Locals: Accepted at the same rate

Holiday Requirement

Travelers are required to work major holidays based on the number occurring during their assignment:

1 major holiday: Work 1
2 major holidays: Work both
3 major holidays: Work 2

Major Holidays: New Year's Eve/Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and Christmas Eve/Day.

Compliance

Full compliance is required to start on time. Failure to complete compliance requirements on time may result in a 2-week start-date delay due to the facility's bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Offer Process: Manager will connect after the offer is signed unless an interview is requested before signing.

Orientation: Non-billable orientation hours depend on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment and 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).
