Registered Nurse – OR Travel

Location: Summit, NJ 

Start Date: 09/14/2026
End Date: 11/07/2026
Contract: Approximately 8 weeks

Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM |11:00 AM – 12:00 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
 

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience
• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required
• CNOR preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Must be able to scrub and circulate
• Must have experience with robotics, orthopedic, neuro, and general surgery

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and accurate patient assessments
• Provide safe and competent perioperative nursing care
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments
• Evaluate PAT orders for appropriateness and potential omissions
• Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-operative instructions
• Follow Universal Protocol and National Patient Safety Goals
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Prioritize patient care based on clinical needs and changes in condition

• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures, anesthesia, equipment, and emergency protocols
