Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced RN – Labor & Delivery with 2+ years of recent acute care hospital inpatient experience. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and newborns throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. The RN should be skilled in fetal monitoring, labor assessment, medication administration, and recognizing and responding to obstetric complications. Strong clinical judgment, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team are essential.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to women throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal heart rate patterns, and promptly identify changes or complications.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments while maintaining patient safety and accurate documentation.
• Assist physicians and the healthcare team during vaginal and cesarean deliveries and manage obstetric emergencies as needed.
• Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum care, newborn care, and discharge instructions.
