LVN – Outpatient OBGYN Clinic
 

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90048
Facility: Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
Shift: Day | 5×8 Hours | 8-hour shift between 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
Schedule: No weekends | No on-call
Travelers: First-time travelers accepted
 

Position Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinic experience
• At least 1 year of OBGYN clinic experience
• Active California LVN License required at the time of submission
• BLS required
• IV Certification required
• Phlebotomy/Blood Draw Certification required
• Strong experience with venipuncture and blood/lab draws
• Epic experience preferred
• Must be comfortable floating to other clinics as needed
• No pending license accepted
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated

Required OBGYN Experience

Candidates must have hands-on experience with the following:

• PAP smears
• Colposcopy
• LEEP
• D&C
• EMB (Endometrial Biopsy)
• IUD insertions and removals
• Nexplanon insertion/removal
• NST (Non-Stress Test)
• Vaginal specimen collection
• Clean-catch urine collection
• Women's reproductive health
• Pregnancy-induced hypertension
• Vaginal bleeding and spontaneous abortion care

Additional Clinical Skills

• Phlebotomy and venipuncture
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Medication administration (IM/SQ)
• Vital sign monitoring
• Blood glucose testing
• Medication reconciliation
• Telephone triage and follow-up calls
• Patient history, allergies, and health assessments
• Specimen labeling
• Interpretation of laboratory results
• Vaccine administration
• Patient education and support

Important Submission Requirements

Hard-stop requirements:

• 2 years of outpatient clinic experience
• Minimum 1 year of OBGYN clinic experience
• Venipuncture experience
• Experience with the required OBGYN procedures listed above
• Active California LVN License
