School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time

Location: Tacoma, WA 98444
School Year: 2026–2027
Dates: September 2, 2026 – June 23, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time, approximately 37.5 hours per week
Pay: $55–$66+ per hour

 

Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff!

PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time opportunity in the Tacoma, WA area for the 2026–2027 school year.

This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working independently in a school setting and supporting secondary-aged students. New graduates are welcome to apply if they have completed a school-based internship.

Position Details

  • Full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week
  • Assignment dates: September 2, 2026 – June 23, 2027
  • Work with secondary school students
  • Caseload of approximately 40–45 students
  • Highly independent school-based role
  • Unique service model designed to support both student care and documentation:
    • 3 weeks focused on providing direct services to students
    • 4th week dedicated to paperwork, documentation, planning, and other responsibilities
  • New graduates considered with completion of a school-based OT internship

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current or eligible Washington Occupational Therapist license
  • Washington ESA certification required
  • School-based experience preferred
  • New graduates must have completed a school-based internship
  • Must be comfortable working independently and managing a school-based caseload
  • Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills
