Location: Hermiston, Oregon
Start Date: 09/14/2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Travel Pay Package: $2,600/Week
Local Pay: $2,480/Week
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a Home Health assignment with a small rural critical-access hospital in Eastern Oregon. The OT will provide patient care in home settings and work as part of an interdisciplinary team to help patients regain and maximize function in activities of daily living, self-care, work, and leisure activities.
Requirements
- Active Oregon Occupational Therapist License
- BLS Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Proof of Auto Insurance
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle
- Preferred: Registered OT with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
Facility Highlights
- Small rural critical-access hospital
- 25-bed facility
- 17 Medical-Surgical Beds
- 7 ICU Beds
- Patient population: Pediatric through Geriatric
- EMR: EPIC
Orientation
- HR orientation on Tuesday followed by unit training
- Candidates starting during the first week of the month will begin on Thursday
Interview Process
- Phone or Microsoft Teams interview with Unit Manager
- Important: Facility may contact candidates unexpectedly after submission, so candidates should be prepared to answer calls.
Dress Code
- Any color scrubs
- No hoodies, t-shirts, or tank tops

- Shift cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 4 weeks
- Home Health setting requiring daily travel to patient homes
