Description

Chicago, IL – Evening Shift X-Ray Tech Opportunity

Quick Glance:

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Shift: Evenings (5x8s)
Length: 13-week contract
Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: As assigned
Scope: Adult diagnostic radiography in a high-volume hospital setting

Scope of Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams on adult patients
Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality
Follow physician orders and established imaging protocols
Maintain accurate documentation and workflow efficiency
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for optimal patient care
Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues as needed

Must-Have Credentials:

ARRT (R) certification
BLS (AHA) certification
Minimum 1–2 years of recent X-ray experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a fast-paced hospital environment
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently during evening shifts
