ravel Labor & Delivery RN
Facility: University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences
Facility size: 509 beds
Trauma: Level I
Unit: 14 LDRs, plus 4-bed triage, 3-bed PACU, and 3 ORs
Deliveries: ~3,500/year
Shift: 12-hour shifts
- Days: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
- Nights: 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 3×12s/week
Call: None
Weekends: Heavy weekend requirement, up to every other weekend; potentially every weekend depending on onboarding
Holidays: Rotating
Floating: Required to Post-Partum/Antepartum
Patient ratio: Approximately 1:2
Orientation: 2–3 days
Charting: EPIC
Medication system: Pyxis
Mandatory requirements
The posting has a particularly important distinction: although the general facility section says 1 year of experience, the submission instructions specifically require 2+ years.
You need:
- 2+ years L&D experience
- Recent EPIC experience
- Active Compact RN or Arkansas RN license
- BLS
- NRP
- Ability to circulate C-sections
- Ability to work heavy weekend shifts
- Willingness to float to Post-Partum/Antepartum
- Must live 100+ miles from the facility — no locals
